Join an Advisory Council

We’re looking for professionals and retired professionals who have the passion and dedication to help Volunteers of America serve its mission. Our Bluegrass Advisory Council in Lexington and our Tennessee Advisory Council in Middle Tennessee help us grow community awareness and support and better serve our clients.

Council members typically meet quarterly for 90 minutes and are asked to commit an additional 1-2 hours per month to

  • Invite personal and professional contacts to participate in Volunteers of America events and activities.
  • Help raise corporate and community contributions and in-kind donations.
  • Help plan and participate in advocacy activities and events.
