Volunteers of America manages the oldest continuously operated homeless shelter for families in the city of Louisville.  Across Kentucky, a variety of programs serve homeless families, women with disabilities and their children, and pregnant and parenting teens by providing housing and intensive case management.  Proven therapeutic techniques are used to enhance life skills and achieve the goals of safe, affordable, permanent housing and self sufficiency.
